Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP)

This event will be held on the following dates/locations:

Monday, May 7th – Douglas County Health Department, 1111 South 41st Street
Tuesday, May 8th – Scott Conference Center, 6950 Pine Street

The program will run from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM – Participants must attend both days.

The Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program provides a set of guiding principles as well as a common approach to exercise management at all levels. Attendees will learn how HSEEP is adaptable and flexible and can be used within a whole community preparedness approach. Attendees will understand the multi-tiered approach to exercise design and the importance of improvement planning.

Who is this program intended for: Public health, health care, health education, behavioral health, emergency management, EMS, fire, critical infrastructure,and other interested parties.

Course Perquisites:
Course attendees must have completed the IS-0120, An Introduction to Exercises and IS-0130, Exercise Evaluation and Improvement Planning Courses.

To obtain FEMA issued certificate attendee’s must complete a FEMA Form 119-25-1, of which a link will be sent upon registration in your confirmation notification.
