The workshop will be held at Methodist Hospital, Centennial Room, 8303 Dodge Street, Omaha, NE
In November 2016, the Department of Health and Human Services released the new 2017-2022 Health Care Preparedness and Response Capabilities. As such, Health Care Coalitions (HCCs) that receive Hospital Preparedness Program funds are currently modifying their organizational and planning efforts in order to address the new capabilities.
The Center for Preparedness Education is partnering with HCCs in Nebraska to facilitate collaborative workshops that build individualized coalition plans to address preparedness needs and grant requirements. The OMMRS Region has chosen to focus on 3 areas: communication, exercises, and documentation. Join us as we work collaboratively toward greater healthcare preparedness!
Chairs of OMMRS/HPP/HCC Committees, public health, hospitals, emergency management, emergency medical services, behavioral health, Community Emergency Response Teams, Medical Reserve Corps, dialysis centers, federal health facilities, home health agencies, infrastructure companies, health care professional organizations, public safety, medical and device manufacturers, non-governmental organizations, outpatient providers, primary care providers, schools and universities, long-term care facilities, support service providers, and other community members
