Basic Disaster Life Support® training 10/6/2020 Papillion, NE
October 6 @ 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
The BDLS® course emphasizes an all-hazards approach to disaster planning, response and incident management and facilitates ongoing qualitative and quantitative assessment of an incident. The recognition and management of the disaster scene and victims is reinforced through the PRE-DISASTER Paradigm. In addition, the BDLS® course adds critical information on the role of the health care professional in the public health and incident management systems, community mental health, and special needs of vulnerable populations. Please note that the Basic Disaster Life Support® (BDLS®) course is a prerequisite for the Advanced Disaster Life Support® (ADLS®) course.
