Working with at-risk, or vulnerable, populations is a critical function of whole community preparedness. However, understanding the concept of at-risk populations can be difficult, as there are many definitions and terms currently being used interchangeably. This webinar will help participants interpret the various definitions and refine their understanding of at-risk populations. Additionally, participants will learn effective approaches for assisting at-risk populations in an emergency.
Intended Audience: Public Health, Emergency Management
At the completion of this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Define at-risk populations and identify them in an emergency.
- Identify approaches for meeting the needs of at-risk populations in an emergency.
